Our world records

Hi readers, its’ Kerry, and William here today, without Emily, who’s not feeling great.

This is the second article as write, sat at the top of Brewery Square, where we can currently hear the children playing, and screaming, in the fountains below. It is shady where we are, as the sun has gone down a bit now, and it’s heading into the evening.

We have just been talking about the amazing Olympic swimmer, Léon Marchand, who has won three gold medals and broken a world record.

If I, William, were to break a world record, it would probably be how fast I can walk. As Kerry has just said, apparently, I disappear into a puff of smoke when saying goodbye and walking off! Walking is the main way I get around, rain or shine, though it’s much better walking when it isn’t raining! I always feel much better after going for a walk, as exercise and being out in public makes me feel happy.

If I, Kerry, were to break a world record, I think it could be for being the best networker. This is pretty much what I am known for, both in my work, and outside of work. I come to life and feel happy when I’m meeting new people, and enjoy telling others about my role at People First Dorset because I’m very proud of all the good work that we do.

We are looking forward to watching the Paralympics, which starts soon. I, Kerry like watching the wheelchair sports and I, William enjoy watching the Paralympic cycling. It is good that there are lots of people represented in the Paralympics, and it shows that it doesn’t matter if you have a disability, you can still do anything you put your mind to.
